| Baker to construct Armed Forces Reserve Center in California Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation, announced that the team of Baker and Sundt Construction, Inc., of Phoenix, Ariz., has been awarded a $60 million design-build contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, for design and construction of a new Armed Forces Reserve Center in Bell, Calif., near Los Angeles.
