| Baker names Brad Mallory chief operating officer  Michael Baker Corporation, a top US engineering and construction consulting firm, has appointed Bradley L. Mallory chief operating officer of the company, effective October 15. In this position, he will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Pittsburgh-based company's Engineering operations, as well as the development and execution of the business' strategic plan.
