Cegelec announces four new acquisitions

Cegelec, a France-based electrical engineering firm, acquired four new companies this summer in France and Belgium: Ortec Meca Marine, Elmo, Flexelec and Tauzin. In all, more than 300 new employees have joined the Group in recent months.

With the acquisition of Ortec Meca Marine, Cegelec has become one of the leading ship repair companies in the Toulon region. It has enhanced its existing capabilities in defencerelated mechanics, sheet - metal work, boilermaking and piping systems, while acquiring new skills in IC engine maintenance, in handling and lifting systems and in the large pleasure boat market .

Based in the Paris area, Elmo is an electrical contractor specialised in multi- technical maintenance. In Belgium, Flexelec is particularly act ive in elect rical contracting for hospitals and other healthcare facilities. In Bordeaux, Tauzin has extended Cegelec's local HVAC engineering capabilities.
