| Otis' elevators selected for luxury housing in China  Otis Elevator Company, the world's largest manufacturer and maintainer of people-moving products, won an order to supply and install 106 energy-efficient elevators at Prince Town and Sunshine Mansion, two luxury residential developments in China's booming Liaoning Province. When completed, the Sunshine Mansion luxury residential development in Liaoyang, China, will have Otis' energy-efficient Sky elevators.The residential developments will use Otis' Sky elevators, which incorporate gearless permanent magnet motors that use half the energy of geared machines and require no lubrication, making them more efficient and cleaner for the environment. When completed in 2011, Prince Town, located along the Taizi River in Benxi, and Sunshine Mansion, located in the Liaoyang central business district, will offer a total of 2,300 luxury apartments.
