| Amec acquires engineering services company in Chile Construction and engineering group Amec announces that it is to acquire Cade-Idepe, the largest independent Chilean engineering services company. Cade-Idepe, which employs 540 people and is based in Santiago, Chile, provides engineering solutions for Natural Resources and Power and Process clients in Chile and throughout South America. It has been a close partner of Amec's for the past thirteen years.
