| Hochtief gives girl students insight into technical vocations Hochtief, a German construction company, is taking part for the fifth time in the "Nationwide Summer University". Initiated by the University of Duisburg-Essen, this project is aimed at acquainting girls in grades 10 to 13 with scientific and technical subjects. The students spend a day gaining an insight into jobs that are not usually considered typical for women. During this one day "Contacticum", as it is called, Hochtief introduces the girl students to technical vocations and gives them an opportunity to observe a typical day in the work of a property manager at Hochtief Facility Management. In the afternoon, the girls have the chance to find out more about Hochtief's core business.
