| Thiess awarded $345 million contract  Australian construction and contract mining group Leighton Holdings Ltd announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, Thiess Pty Limited, has secured a $345 million contract for services at BHP Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd owned South Walker Creek Coal Mine. The further three year contract for total mine operations includes mine planning, drill and blast, over burden removal including dragline operation, coal mining, coal processing and train loading and maintenance of all fixed and mobile plant.
