| Samsung Engineering wins gas plant project in Thailand Samsung Engineering announced that it won a USD470M contract to build an ethane separation plant for PTT Public Co., Ltd., a Thai state company. The plant, to be built in Map ta phut Industrial Complex, 180km southeast of Bangkok, will process 800MMSCFD of gas and produce 550-thousand tons of ethane gas per year, boasting world's largest capacity. Samsung Engineering received the contract on a turnkey basis, which includes engineering, procurement, construction and pre-commissioning.
