| ThyssenKrupp Elevator escalators for Expo Zaragoza 2008 ThyssenKrupp Elevator is involved in a project of international significance in Spain. On the site of the World Expo 2008 in Zaragoza, installation of the first two of a total of 36 escalators and nine moving walks has commenced. ThyssenKrupp Elevator is thus taking on an important role in visitor transportation at the next World Expo in the provincial capital from June 14 until September 14, 2008. Organizers are expecting over six million visitors during the three months. Over 100 nations as well as national and international companies and organizations will participate in Expo Zaragoza 2008. The ThyssenKrupp Elevator escalators will be installed in various Expo buildings, including the Congress Hall, the Aquarium and the Water Tower. The latter is the trademark of the Expo Zaragoza, the motto of which is "water and sustainable development."
