| Amec acquires consultancy firm in Romania UK-based engineering services giant Amec has further expanded its environmental services capabilities in Europe with the acquisition Agraro Consult, based in Bucharest, Romania. The acquisition will enhance Amec's position in the Romanian and Eastern European environmental market. Agraro will join Amec's Earth and Environmental business in Europe, which operates from offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Kaiserslautern, Milan, Rotterdam and Seville.
