| HDI carries out world-record directional bore in India HDI, a subsidiary of Spac (Colas Group) specializing in large-diameter horizontal directional drilling over long distances, recently completed the directional bore beneath the Vashista Godavari, one of India's seven holy rivers. This crossing constitutes a world record for both length (1,760 meters) and diameter (1,200 millimeters). The work carried out by HDI for local company Reliance is part of the project for construction of a 1,508‑kilometer‑long gas pipeline running east-west across central India.
