| Emaar wins "digie" awards Emaar Properties, the Dubai-based property developer with a significant presence in 16 countries globally, has won two awards at the 9th annual RealComm Digie Awards (Commercial Real Estate Digital Innovation Awards), which recognises industry innovators who work to transform real estate companies into digital models. Emaar Properties won the RealComm Digie Award for Best Use of Automation – Facilities Management, and Burj Dubai, the iconic tower developed by Emaar, was adjudged Most Digital Real Estate – Extreme Multifamily Residential. The Best Use of Automation Award for Emaar specifically fetes the commendable achievements of the developer in facilities management. The award recognises the advanced Facilities Management Command Control Centre (CCC) that Emaar operates for remotely monitoring 24x7x365 days all the electro mechanical assets of Emaar. The innovative use of Machine to Machine (M2M) technology in all Emaar assets to connect to the CCC reduces operational and energy costs, provides real time alarm and data of all equipment, and improves service delivery through proactive surveillance.
