| Amec completes sale of Midwest Pipelines British engineering and project management firm Amec plc announces that it has completed the sale of its Midwest Pipelines business to a subsidiary of Willbros Group, Inc., the Panama based international contractor serving the oil, gas and power industries for a cash consideration of £9 million (Cdn$18.5 million) plus working capital of £3 million (Cdn$5.3 million). Midwest Pipelines is a pipeline contractor focusing on the oil and gas industry.
