Amec Paragon appoints new president

Amec, the international project management and services company, announced that Terrance (Terri) Ivers has joined Houston-based Amec Paragon to serve as president. He will be responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations, safety performance and customer delivery as it continues to grow.

Ivers will report directly to Simon Naylor, who previously held dual roles as president of both Amec Paragon and all of Amec's Oil & Gas business in the Americas. Naylor remains in Amec Paragon's Houston office with expanded duties as president of Amec's Natural Resources (Americas) business, which includes oil and gas, mining and metals, oil sands, and other energy-related services.

Ivers has nearly 30 years of extensive international project and business management experience in the global oil and gas sector, and joins AMEC Paragon from Alliance Wood Group Engineering, where he served as chief operating officer. Previously, he worked for Kellogg Brown & Root for 27 years, where he rose to the role of vice president of offshore engineering, responsible for the execution of global offshore engineering projects.
