| Fluor appoints Ian Thomas to senior role Fluor Corporation announced that it has appointed Ian Thomas as senior vice president of its Corporate Strategy & Emerging Markets Group. Thomas joins from international project management and engineering group Amec plc, where for more than 10 years he was business development director and a member of the senior management committee reporting directly to the chief executive officer. Thomas advises Her Majesty's Government on Asia Pacific trade and investment, is co-chairman of the Indonesian British Business Council and serves as a special advisor to the Korean Envoy for Energy and Mineral Resources.
