| Foundation laying ceremony for Shimao project held in Shenyang A grand foundation laying ceremony for Shimao Property's major project in Heping District (tentatively-named Shimao Wulihe) was held in Shenyang City. The next five to ten years will be crucial in accelerating the urbanization of Shenyang City, which the construction of the Golden Corridor, as the "Central Urban Corridor" in the city centre, will have a significant and far-reaching influence. Shimao Wulihe is favourably located at the forefront of the Golden Corridor. With its core position and planned height, the commencement of its construction represents the beginning of another large scale-integrated project under Shenyang's strategic economic plan. Shimao Property will apply forward looking, international, design concepts with a view to turning the site of the former Wulihe Stadium into a new landmark in the north eastern region of modern services industry. A hotel-cum-services apartment complex, at 250 metres, will also become the tallest structure in Shenyang.
