| Vinci acquires Nukem in the United Kingdom Vinci Construction subsidiary Freyssinet, which specialises in civil engineering with high technical content, has just acquired Nukem Ltd. Nukem Ltd is a U.K. leader in nuclear facility decommissioning, decontamination, waste treatment and radiation protection. The company expects to generate revenue of nearly €120 million in 2007, primarily in the United Kingdom. Nukem Ltd operates at all British nuclear sites and thus has acknowledged expertise and a track record in the nuclear industry.
