| Acciona builds Malaga's new west bypass Acciona Infrastructure, Spain's Acciona division that specialises in developing and managing infrastructure projects, has been awarded the contract to build the new Malaga west bypass. The route, which will run from south to north along the corridor crossing the valley of the river Guadalhorce, is to be completed in 28 months and has a total budget of 83.2 million euro. The new section of highway will be 3,900 metres long and will connect the MA-417 road with the Guadalhorce A-357 highway, situated on the A-7. The new road will consist of two carriageways, each 10.5m wide and comprising three 3.5m lanes; the road will have a flexible road surface made up of 30cm of asphalt over 25cm of aggregate.
