| Carillion Rail 'masterclass' open days Support services and construction company Carillion is hosting a series of rail open days in July for Network Rail, employees, and other organisations. Carillion Rail will be hosting the track technical away days at Crewe, Basford Hall and Bicester depots. The central theme of the events is 'track quality' and a live tamping exercise has been organised for the event at Basford Hall. The track geometry events aim to display new equipment and techniques to help polish practical skills and share best practice away from the time constraints of possessions. Carillion Rail, Track Quality Engineer, Martyn Tilford will also be running an ALC seminar for Network Rail and other contractors' engineers at the event in Crewe. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
