| PBS&J senior scientist named to SOGW WKGroup PBS&J senior scientist Michael Alfieri has been named to the Department of the Interior/U.S. Geological Survey Advisory Committee on Water Information's (ACWI) National Subcommittee on Ground Water (SOGW) Data Standards and Management Work Group. The overall goal of the SOGW is to develop and encourage implementation of a nationwide, long-term groundwater quantity and quality monitoring framework that will provide information necessary for the planning, management, and development of groundwater supplies to meet current and future water needs and ecosystem requirements. A senior hydrogeologist in PBS&J's west Florida hydrogeological services division, Alfieri has over nine years of experience in applied and quantitative hydrogeology, groundwater resource evaluations/economics and permitting, physical/chemical hydrogeologic interpretations and evaluations, and groundwater modeling. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
