| Thierry Pilenko named Chairman and CEO of Technip  The board of directors of Technip appointed Thierry Pilenko Chairman and CEO of Technip. He succeeds Daniel Valot, who is retiring. The board paid homage to Daniel Valot's contribution to the growth of the Group since 1999. Thierry Pilenko joined Technip on January 15, 2007 as Deputy General Manager, in order to ensure a smooth and effective transition. The board also expressed their thanks to Roger Cairns, Miguel Caparros and Pierre Vaillaud, who did not seek to renew their mandates, for the quality of their work as members of the Board.With a workforce of 22,000 people, Technip ranks among the top five corporations in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical engineering, construction and services.
