| Black & Veatch evaluates facility space needs Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, announced that it is evaluating long-term needs for office space in the metropolitan Kansas City area. The company presently leases office space in five separate locations. Black & Veatch’s largest area office is in Overland Park at 11401 Lamar Avenue and its current lease expires in June 2012. The company said that building currently houses approximately 2,400 of its 3,700 professionals in the Kansas City area. With approximately 600,000-square-feet of floor space, it is the largest office building in Kansas.
