| Cemex profit falls 21%, net sales up 9%  Mexico's Cemex SA, the world's No. 3 cement maker, announced that consolidated net sales increased 9 percent in the first quarter of 2007 to US$4.3 billion versus the year ago period. EBITDA grew 6 percent in the first quarter of 2007 to US$868 million versus the same period of 2006. Operating income in the first quarter remained flat compared to the same period in 2006.
