| New intelligent fire alarm control panel  Notifier introduces new, UL 864 Ninth Edition listed NFS2-640 intelligent fire alarm control panel. The NFS2-640 is engineered specifically for medium size applications, using technologies that maximize flexibility, quicken alarm response, and simplify maintenance and usability. The panel is suitable for mid-size commercial office buildings, strip malls, assisted living facilities, school buildings, and more. The NFS2-640 comes with one Signaling Line Circuit, expandable to two, and supports up to 636 intelligent devices. The NFS2-640 has four Notification Appliance Circuits with built in synchronization protocol for System Sensor, Wheelock, and Gentex horns, strobes, and horn/strobes.The NFS2-640 is easily expanded via the Notifier intelligent fire alarm network to accommodate future facility growth and expansion. The NFS2-640 offers an optional integrated digital voice evacuation system, ONYX Digital Voice Command. This digital audio evacuation, paging and firefighter's telephone system uses eight channels of audio to deliver live, high quality emergency paging while simultaneously broadcasting multiple, distinct messages throughout an entire facility or selected areas. The NFS2-640 also features Notifier's patented FlashScan intelligent device polling protocol, which exceeds worldwide code requirements for response time.
