| Wiesbauer introduced Terex Demag AC 700 crane Wiesbauer introduced new Terex Demag AC 700 all-terrain crane – Wiesbauer's fourth crane in the 700- to 800-ton lifting capacity class. The AC 700 was fully-equipped and included a 160-ton counterweight, a Sideways Superlift, a main boom extension of up to 118 feet, a rigid fly jib of up to 164 feet, and a luffing fly jib with a length of up to 315 feet. With the number of motors involved, the crane must be moved through ballasting and be re-positioned several times in order to move the engines from the back to the front area of the wharf. Because of this, both 700 tonners were equipped with short telescoped booms, as well as a 100-ton part ballast. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
