| Photovoltaic system at Fresno Airport Fresno City Council approved a solar power generating project planned for Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The solar project will cover approximately 25 acres. The Airport solar project will be the single largest solar installation at any airport in the country. The Airport solicited proposals from the solar energy industry and subsequently completed negotiations with World Water & Power Corporation to install, operate, and maintain a 2 megawatt solar power generating system.
