| Northwire introduces DataCELL Field cables  Northwire has introduced DataCELL Field Profibus DP cables. The new product line includes several exclusive versions: ITC/PLTC-ER cable for factory floor installations, AWM cable for machine builders and OEM applications, and marine/shipboard cable. ITC/PLTC-ER cable is exposed-run rated, eliminating the need for conduit when installed in accordance with recent NEC amendments. This cable is UL listed and rated for CSA CMX-Outdoor-CMG and FT4. AWM cable is suitable for machine-tool applications, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, robotics and other machinery where a rugged UL-approved, RoHS-compliant cable is required. This cable has an extremely rugged PUR outer jacket and has superior resistance to oils, chemicals, cuts and abrasions.Marine/shipboard cable is arctic rated for use to -60°C. It has a tough TPE outer jacket and is UL listed 1309 marine/shipboard. This cable also is available in an armored version.
