| Mott MacDonald wins commission for Croydon Tramlink Extension UK engineering firm Mott MacDonald has been appointed through a Transport for London (TfL) Environmental consultancy framework contract to assist with the application process for the proposed Croydon Tramlink Extension to Crystal Palace. The aim of the Extension programme is to improve access between Croydon, Anerley and Crystal Palace and to help regenerate the Upper Norwood area. Mott MacDonald has been commissioned to assist TfL in devising and implementing a structured and auditable optioneering process to identify a robust preferred design option which will then be the subject of an environmental impact assessment and sustainability appraisal. The documentation produced by Mott MacDonald will be used by TfL to support its application for powers under the Transport and Works Act (TWA) process to proceed with the scheme. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
