| Carillion secures contract in Manchester Carillion National Building has successfully negotiated a further £23 million contract with Abito, a subsidiary of Ask Developments. The Abito development in Salford Quays will comprise a 10 storey building, housing 290 residential apartments with associated car parking and several commercial units. The construction of the Abito development is highly innovative using an insitu tunnel form concrete frame and pre-manufactured pods for the bathrooms and kitchens.
