| Workrite launches DuPont Protera FR clothing line Workrite Uniform announced the launch of its FR clothing line made from DuPont Protera, a new family of inherent flame-resistant fabrics specifically engineered to protect against electric arc hazards and meet NFPA 70E Category 2 requirements. Blending Kevlar, Nomex and Modacrylic fibers, Workrite garments made from DuPont Protera provide an arc rating of 8½ and higher in a lightweight, single layer. The fabric is designed to maintain strength, flame-resistance and appearance even after 100 industrial launderings, according to DuPont. Protera is available in two fabric weights, 6½ and 8 oz, and three colors, medium blue, navy blue and khaki. Workrite Uniform supported wear trials during DuPont Protera's development, providing ongoing customer insights. Workrite's DuPont Protera line includes two button-front work shirts in 6½ oz, medium blue and khaki, and a work pant in 8 oz, navy blue. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
