| Ameco celebrates 60th anniversary Ameco, a unit of Fluor Corporation providing integrated equipment and tool solutions to government and industry, is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Originating in 1947 in Greenville, S.C., as the equipment division of Daniel Construction Company, Ameco celebrates this anniversary with diverse, worldwide operations that include opening a new office in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada; supplying mining equipment and services in Antofagasta, Chile; delivering equipment to the oil industry in Sakhalin, Russia; and mobilizing a project team and equipment to Madagascar.
