'nanotech+material week frankfurt' held for the first time

To unite and create a central platform for manufacturers, product developers and potential users of nanotechnology and new materials – this is the aim of the joint event of the 'hessen-nanotech' campaign of the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Transport and State Development, G+J Expomedia Events GmbH and Messe Frankfurt. Therefore, 'Nanotechnologieforum Hessen', 'NanoSolutions – Leading European Fair for Nano Applications and 'Material Vision' will be held November 21-23, 2007 in parallel in Frankfurt am Main for the first time.

Under the umbrella name, 'nanotech+material week frankfurt', these three events will form a unique platform for technologies of the future at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre and thus offer additional value three times over for both exhibitors and visitors: while the trade fairs provide information about the latest products and technologies, the conferences, lectures and discussion forums will offer in-depth insights into a variety of specialist topics.

The 4th 'Nanotechnologieforum Hessen' on 22 and 23 November 2007 will be the international congress highlight of 'nano¬tech+material week frankfurt'. Under the motto "What's next for international nano-markets", the congress will focus on specialist subjects, such as nano-energy, and business topics, such as the perspectives of international markets. Organised by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, this specialist event is the main networking meeting for decision makers from business, science and society with an interest in nanotechnology. As a platform for technology providers and users, the congress is also the ideal shop window and gateway to the booming European nano market for international trade visitors.

Organised by G+J Expomedia Events, NanoSolutions is the leading European trade fair for the nano-business. Last year's event was equally successful as NanoSolutions 2005 and thus underscored its position as the central, all-embracing market for current nano-applications. The aim of the event is to inform and to inspire the manufacturing sector as a whole and, in particular, small to medium-sized companies, with regard to the broad spectrum of potential applications and competitive advantages of nanotechnology. Thus, as in the past, NanoSolutions 2007 will be characterised by a wide-ranging programme of product presentations, lectures and intensive discussions between nano-companies and (potential) users from the various sectors. This year, around 150 German and international exhibitors are expected to welcome in the region of 3,000 – 4,000 visitors to NanoSolutions.
