| MEC introduces new large rough-terrain scissor lifts  MEC Aerial Work Platforms introduced its biggest scissor lift offerings: the 25-foot tall 2591RT, 33-foot tall 3391RT, and 41-foot tall 4191RT. Featuring deck capacities of 2,000 pounds on the 2591, 1,500 pounds on the 3391, and 1,000 pounds on the 4191, dual parallel scissor design allows for the high platform capacities. The decks also have 48" concealed extension deck rollers with incremental locking positions. The company's 91"-wide scissor lifts have a new drive system with torque hubs and two-speed wheel motors; Quad-Trax four-wheel drive is available as an option. Top speed is 3.8 mph, and the scissor lifts have 45% gradeability. For flexibility, MEC's large RT scissor lifts use a Kubota DF752 dual fuel engine as standard. A Kubota D1105 diesel engine is an option.Key features include fully proportional drive and lift controls that incorporate the steering control on top of the single joystick for one-handed operation; oscillating rear axle with 12" of ground clearance; and weather-sealed wire harness and electrical connections to help eliminate breakdowns.
