| Techtextil and Avantex Prizes draw attention to latest developments  Innovation Prizes of the Techtextil and Avantex trade fairs in Frankfurt am Main are awarded for outstanding achievements in research, materials and product development and new technology. The closing date for entries is 30 March 2007. The prize-winning projects will be exhibited in separate special shows during the two fairs (International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens and International Forum for Innovative Apparel Textiles from 12 to 14 June 2007). Additionally, the Innovation Prizes will be presented at a ceremony on 11 June 2007.The competitions are open to companies, institutes, universities and individuals from all countries of the world. The work submitted must constitute a new development completed after 1 January 2006, which has not been awarded any other prize.
