| Aqualuma introduces new Underwater Lighting Aqualuma Underwater Lighting has introduced LED underwater lights - low energy use and rugged, seaworthy design product. Aqualuma uses an exclusive one-piece housing of high-impact polycarbonate - the same material used to make bulletproof glass. Aqualuma lights were pressure tested to provide water tightness all the way down to 1,300 feet. With a six-element, high-output LED light engine inside each rugged housing, these lights penetrate deeper into the darkness when fishing and create a larger, more pleasing aura around vessel when anchored or entertaining. These lights are high energy efficient, drawing less than 1 amp at 12V and .5 amp at 24V. LED lights far outlast traditional lighting systems, providing thousands of hours or reliable performance. Plus, LEDs produce very little heat and can even be operated safely out of the water without damage. Aqualuma's six-LED lights are compact, measuring only 120mm across the front face and sealing flange with a 145mm overall length. Installation of these powerful lights requires a 76mm hole. Aqualuma lights come with plenty of cable and are designed for easy, affordable installation. Aqualuma's corrosion-proof polycarbonate housing eliminates the need for bonding wires or anodes. If necessary, they can be serviced from inside the boat, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming haul-outs. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
