| Carillion secures contract for the Forensic Science Service UK construction company Carillion has secured a national property and facilities management contract with the Forensic Science Service (FSS), covering its property portfolio across England. The multi million pound contract over a three year period has an option to be extended for a further year. Carillion mobilised around 80% of the contract on 1st February 2007, with the remainder scheduled to begin in April. The contract covers 17 FSS properties across England and Wales. Carillion is providing an integrated solution with its buildings maintenance company PME carrying out M&E and planned preventative maintenance and Carillion Facilities Management supplying FM services. Services supplied by Carillion under the terms of the contract include health & safety and environmental management, business continuity management, space planning and condition surveys as well as a full FM package including helpdesk, customer restaurant, cleaning, pest control, waste management, security and mail room services. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
