Jacobs to provide services for Stanyl facility

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that they received a contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services for a new facility at DSM's Chemelot site in Sittard-Geleen, The Netherlands, which will produce the high-temperature thermoplastic Stanyl. This unique polyamide has a broad range of applications for the automotive and electronic industries. DSM is the world's leading market producer of Stanyl.

Jacobs is currently completing the basic engineering work for the new facility. The new project, which is scheduled to be completed in 2008, will be executed from Jacobs' offices in Leiden and Meerssen, The Netherlands.
