| Finland's Poyry awarded contract for power plant project in Russia Poyry's Energy business group has been awarded a technical advisory services contract in a coal-fired power plant project in Russia. The end client is the power generation company OGK-3. Poyry will provide its services to JSC Sibcotes, an engineering company based in Novosibirsk belonging to the E4 group, who have been appointed general designer in the project. The value of the assignment is about EUR 2 million. Poyry's assignment includes technical advisory services, conceptual engineering and construction supervision services for a new 2x225 MW coal-fired power plant to be built at the existing power plant site Cherepetskaya GRES in Suvorov city, Tula region. The plant's design concept will be based on environmentally friendly circulating fluidized boiler technology, and the project will be the first large-scale plant using this technology in Russia.
