| Technip wins contract for gas compression facilities in UAE Technip has been awarded a lump sum turnkey contract worth approximately $610 million by Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Limited (ADGAS) for gas compression plants and associated facilities to be located at Das Island, United Arab Emirates. The plant's facilities, which include compressor and booster stations, fuel gas treatment and gas dehydration units, will treat 211 million standard cubic feet per day of associated gases produced by offshore fields in Abu Dhabi. The project will be configured predominately in large scale process system modules and interconnecting racks, which will be manufactured and assembled at construction yards before being transported and erected at Das Island.
