| New ExoCarb Max-Oil-Al drills OSG Tap & Die introduced the new ExoCarb Max-Oil-Al drills, suitable for deep-hole drilling and specifically designed for Aluminum and Copper Alloys. The ExoCarb Max-Oil-Al drill incorporates a double margin design, which provides added stability. This allows the drill to produce more consistent, concentric holes from entry to exit at up to 30x diameter. The double margin design also has a burnishing effect on the material, leaving better surface finishes. In addition, a special flute design creates small, manageable chips, and a coolant through center is utilized for easy chip evacuation.
