Atkins to deliver British Museum's collections to online audience

The British Museum has appointed multidisciplinary consultancy Atkins to help make more of its vast collection of artefacts available as an online experience and research tool. Its upgraded website, when developed, will allow the Museum to steadily present its collection of treasures to a vast worldwide audience through the internet.

Atkins is implementing the Immediacy Content Management Solution, and providing extensive system integration and content migration services. A range of new content and features, including on-line collection information, will be developed throughout 2007.
