The opening event provided attendees the earliest possible look at the project, plus the opportunity to witness the 'Europe 2010' Innovation Debate. New technologies developed by DuPont enhance residential homes, improving comfort levels while reducing energy consumption. DuPont Climate Systems are breathing membranes and damp regulating layers, which improve heat insulation. DuPont Energain wall panels prevent excess energy consumption and unpleasant temperature peaks in low-inertia buildings. DuPont Powder Coatings offer protection against corrosion and the effects of weather. Contemporary architects are finding creative uses for glass in building design. Architects are now able to use layered glass, which is sheet glass bonded with transparent films developed by DuPont.
