| Hitachi Power Tools redesigns its angled finish nailer Hitachi Power Tools announced its addition to the 2½" 15-gauge finish nailer market, the NT65MA3. This angled nailer illustrates Hitachi's ergonomic 'inspire' design and features an easy-to-clear nose, selective actuation and integrated air duster. Hitachi developed unique air duster button on the NT65MA3. The button, located above the grip and easily accessible to reach, allows air from the compressor to bypass the nailing function and expel from a hole in the front of the tool allowing the user to clear away debris and dust from the work surface in preparation for the nailing or gluing. The NT65MA3 provides a tool-less, easy-to-clear nose for quick and simple nail extraction should a nail jam during use. A simple flip of the selective actuation switch allows for either sequential or contact fastening, depending on the application with no additional parts or tools required. At 4.4 lbs, the NT65MA3 minimizes user fatigue, while increasing maneuverability. The 34º angle of the magazine allows the user to reach into corners or tight spaces with ease. The included no-mar tip protects work surfaces from damage, while the elastomer grip adds comfort and a secure hold. The NT65MA3 accepts 1¼" to 2½", 15-gauge fasteners. The signature 'inspire' appearance of the finish nailer reflects the ergonomic design. The new ergonomic considerations improve the balance, feel and comfort when handling the tool for lengths of time, not only reducing user fatigue and repetitive stress injuries but also providing more control during use. The factory installed air fittings are now angled upwards to conform to the way a wrist naturally holds the tool keeping the hose conveniently and comfortably placed during use. Hitachi's NT65MA3 includes a case, safety glasses, no-mar tip and hex bar wrenches. This is the ideal 15-gauge angled finish nailer for installing molding, chair rail, cabinetry and other fine finish applications. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
