Milwaukee introduces new rotary hammers

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces two new rotary hammers for the 1" SDS category with an Anti-Vibration System, AVS, previously only available on larger hammers. Both models also feature three modes of operation for maximum versatility, a keyless SDS chuck for fast, tool-free bit changes and a variable speed trigger and reverse switch that allows accurate drill bit starting and easy bit/fastener removal. The 1" Compact SDS Rotary Hammer features a new AVS to reduce vibration in repetitive operations, improve comfort and control and reduce overall operator fatigue.

Delivering 2.0 ft/lbs of impact energy and up to 5,980 blows per minute, the 5363-21 provides fast drilling and powerful chipping for increased jobsite productivity. The hammer also features a high power, 7.0 amp motor; a rotating brush plate to provide equal power in forward and reverse for easy removal of jammed bits; and an all-metal, magnesium gear case and block construction for long-term dependability.

The 5369-21 features a powerful 7½ amp motor and large hammer mechanism that delivers 2.4 ft/lbs. of impact energy at 5,900 blows per minute to complete more work in less time. The D-Handle design with a length of 17¼" inches and weight of 7.9 lbs makes it ideal for overhead and downward drilling applications.

The 5369-21 has a 1" solid bit drilling capacity in concrete and an optimal concrete drilling range of 3/16" to ¾" and also features AVS. Additional features include an integral clutch that minimizes torque reactions and helps protect gears and a heavy-duty 12' rubber power cord.
