| Barratt scoops award for best landscape design Barratt Eastern Counties has scooped a Gold Award for Best Landscape Design in the What House? Awards, the 'Oscars' of the house building industry. The top prize was awarded to Capital Square, Barratt's luxury apartment development in the centre of Chelmsford. Capital Square features two striking courtyards. Within the western courtyard is a stunning display of eight fountains, surrounded by hard landscaping created from different shapes and materials. In contrast, the central square has a soft landscape of open grass, mature trees and attractive shrubs. Both areas have plenty of seating for residents and visitors to enjoy the surroundings. At the What House?
