| Lincoln Electric introduces Pipeliner stick electrodes Lincoln Electric introduces six new Pipeliner stick electrodes - the 7P+, 8P+, 17P, 18P, 19P and 20P. 7P+ and 8P+ are cellulosic electrodes recommended for root, hot, fill and cap pass welding. They are designed for use in all position welding, featuring high stacking efficiency in difficult vertical down and out-of-position applications. The four other new electrodes are all low-hydrogen electrodes for fill and cap pass vertical up welding, recommended for DC+ use. Each electrode is designed for different grades of pipe - 17P, 18P, 19P and 20P - but all offer similar advantages. Excellent in any position except vertical down, these electrodes produce x-ray quality welds, superior arc performance, easy slag removal and outstanding mechanical properties.
