New liquid flow meters from Racine

Racine introduces RWL wafer-style liquid flow meters for flow measurement. The RWL includes updated electronics and an onboard display for improved performance and ease of use. The meters also include programmable software, 10-point linearization, and diagnostic tools, they are easily accessible through the external keypad. RWL meters will provide high performance in a number of applications including municipal water treatment facilities, cooling tower and water condensate, boiler feed water, chemical processing, and pool and water parks. Racine's RWL vortex meters produce accurate flow measurements with low pressure drop.

These meters are suitable for most low viscosity liquids, available as a loop-powered device with 4-20mA output, and fit pipe sizes from 1" to 3". They may be configured for 3-wire frequency pulse output as well. The meters have no moving parts and are virtually maintenance-free once installed. Racine's vortex flow meters utilize ultrasonic sensing technology, allowing the meters to measure flow with a small bluff body. As a result, system pressure drop and meter turndown ratio are improved.
