| New Sandvik Coromant extensions Sandvik Coromant has developed extensions for the CoroDrill 880 program and the GC4225. Sandvik Coromant has enhanced the capabilities of the CoroDrill 880 with the addition of two new insert ranges for larger drill diameters. The new 06 and 07 inserts feature measurements up to 43.99 mm and 1.687 in. and up to five times diameter. These new inserts offer more options for drilling with the wider application area and increase the hole quality made allowing for reliable and consistent performance. The new extensions of the stainless steel MF geometry include large nose radii and new grades. The stainless steel MF geometry provides excellent chip control in stainless steel finishing applications, while the larger nose radii are ideal for applications where tool life or surface finish need to be improved. ½" iC CNMG, DNMG and 3/8" TNMG inserts are now available in a 3 and VNMG inserts in a 2 nose radius. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
