| New SolarPack for gas flow installations Control Microsystems released the SolarPack integrated solar power control and communication system designed for gas flow installations in harsh environments. The SolarPack combines solar power technology with an intelligent battery charger that prevents hydrogen generation from overcharging. The system is ideal for valve plunger automation with electronic flow measurement, and well head gas measurement with tubing and casing pressure. Built-in temperature-compensated battery charging, radio load-shedding and over-current protection ensure that the SolarPack will operate safely at well site.
