| Multiplex appoints independent board director Multiplex Group has appointed Mr. Alan Cameron, AM to the Multiplex Limited and Multiplex Funds Management Limited boards as an independent Non-Executive Director. Mr. Cameron, a lawyer, was Commonwealth Ombudsman from April 1991 until the end of 1992. He was chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and its predecessor for 8 years (1993 to 2000). He was a director of Ronin Property Group, which merged with Multiplex in late 2004, and a director of SFE Corporation Limited for 5 years until it merged with ASX Limited this year. He is chairman of the NSW Growth Centres Commission, Cameron Ralph Pty Limited, and 3 companies in the Westpac Group. He is a Fellow of the Senate of the University of Sydney, a director of Audit Quality Review Board Limited, and a member of the NSW Judicial Commission.
